Junior & The Kid Barbecue
Junior & The Kid BBQ was built on a love of great food, family traditions, and the belief that the best memories are made around the table. Inspired by my grandfather, affectionately known as "Junior," I grew up learning that food was never just about eating, it was about bringing people together. Whether it was a family breakfast, a celebration, or simply sharing stories after a long day, Junior believed that a good meal had the power to connect people in a way few things can.
Some of my earliest memories were spent beside him in the kitchen of his restaurant, watching him cook and learning that every meal should be made with care, pride, and a little bit of personality. As I got older, that passion grew into a lifelong love of cooking, smoking meats, and creating memorable experiences through food. What started as family recipes and weekend cooking sessions eventually became a way of life.
Today, Junior & The Kid BBQ carries on that legacy. We are passionate about authentic barbecue, sharing knowledge, and creating a place where food lovers can come together. While Junior may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in every recipe, every story, and every meal shared with family and friends.
Our goal is simple: bring people together, celebrate life's moments, and make every gathering a little more memorable; one delicious bite at a time.

To deliver the authentic wood-fired barbecue our guests deserve, we invested in a Lewis BBQ 1000 Gallon Offset Smoker. Built for consistency and exceptional flavour, this traditional wood-fired pit allows us to slow-smoke our meats low and slow over real hardwood, creating the rich bark, smoky aroma, and tender results that simply can't be replicated with gas or electric cooking. It's our commitment to doing barbecue the right way. Because great BBQ is worth the time.
